Eternal Redemption, Part 2

54

In part 1, we stressed the importance of the model of worship established on Mount Sinai and the tent God instructed Moses to build. That tent and its service was to typify the true tabernacle, the incarnate Christ, "the greater and more perfect tabernacle."

In this message, we will demonstrate how Jesus entered the true holy place in heaven to present His blood, the perfect sacrifice, on the mercy seat to propitiate God's wrath and satisfy His justice, thereby obtaining eternal redemption for His own. We look at when He entered heaven to make propitiation and why His blood was, in the words of Peter, "precious" (1 Pet. 1:19).

This redemptive work of Christ, understood properly, will leave one with no problem in Christ's claim that "Any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple" (Luke 14:33).
