The Resurrection of the Messiah

Point # 1: The resurrection of Jesus the Messiah was prophesied beforehand in Old Testament Scripture – it was always part of God's plan that Jesus the Messiah would suffer, die and rise again (22-31).

a) Bomb # 1: We are now living in the New Age of the outpoured Holy Spirit.

b) Bomb # 2: This new age has been ushered in through the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, who is the Messiah.

c) Bomb # 3: God raised Jesus, who is the Messiah, from the dead in accordance with Scriptures.

Point # 2: The resurrection of Jesus the Messiah is an historical fact, attested to by many reliable witnesses (32).
