Passion (21) -- Jesus Dies in Triumph

Having appeased the wrath of God against the sin of those for whom He died, Jesus commits His spirit to His Father in heaven and breathes His last, being obedient even unto death.

This is another in a series of sermons on the Passion narrative from a larger series of expositions of the Gospel according to Mark.

We witness, from the very Word of God, the suffering and agony of Jesus Christ in His final hours beginning in Gethsemane and leading to His atoning death on the cross and subsequent resurrection. Its meaning and relevance for Jesus Christ and for you and me are clearly opened up and powerfully applied throughout this series of messages.
