Abraham's Seed Are the Children of the Freewoman

Oh! the seriousness of the error into which these churches had fallen cannot be overstated. In this 4th chapter Paul now resorts to the use of allegory to prove the same truth he stated from a literal interpretation of the Scriptures in the previous chapter. We are all (Jews and Gentiles that have faith in Christ) the children of the freewoman and heirs of the promise of justification by faith of Christ apart from the works of the law.
