A Most Glorious Salvation

We will be turning our attention to the Book of 1 Peter 1:1-5. It is my sincere desire that this message will aid you in focusing your heart and mind on this most glorious salvation that the triune God has given to His elect people. The fuller and clearer our understanding of our salvation, the deeper and stronger our faith and joy will be no matter what we face in this world. When we know that God has chosen us for salvation, we also know that He has determined each day of our lives. No matter what your circumstances, when you live in light of God's Glorious Salvation you will be able to bless or praise "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Why is this so? Because He has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Paul says in 1 Cor. 15:13-19 "But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up-- if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable." Brothers and sisters! We are not the most pitiable. We are the most blessed. We have a living hope in a living Savior! We should be the happiest and most joy-filled people on this earth. Let not the challenges of this life rob you of the hope and joy that
