Power Of The Resurrection And The Promise Of The Pretribulation Rapture Of The Church

123

In the gospel of Luke, we see an amazing account recorded about events that took place on that first Resurrection Sunday, and it is not what you would anticipate. In Luke, we see the inner circle of the disciples of Jesus Christ, who after being told by Mary and the women that Jesus had, in fact, risen from the dead and that they are witnesses to it, did not believe that that had actually happened. How could this be, didn't one of the men believe Jesus had done what He told them He would do? Nope. Kind of reminds me how Christians today think of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, something we see in both Testaments, with total disbelief. Today is Resurrection Sunday, the day that religious folks and the unsaved refer to as Easter, and it is about a day that has never been duplicated before or since, but will be, in a manner of speaking, replicated on a global scale. We call that soon-coming event the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, and when that day comes, we who are saved will rise up into the clouds exactly like Jesus did in Acts 1. Yet as close as we are to that 'glorious appearing' of Jesus pulling us up and into the clouds, it is a doctrine that is disbelieved by the majority of the professing Christian Church in 2021. Today I would like to bring you a message and much-needed reminder of the power of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, and the promise of the pretribulation rapture of the Church.
