What is this Effectual Calling? WSC 31

The true internal calling of the Spirit of God to the sinner is effective. It is no haphazard wishful thinking on God's side, but an actual and radical change within the sinner being converted to Christ by the Spirit. Hence the expression used concerning the Spirit's work - Effectual Calling:

1. The Work of the Spirit

2. The Convicting of the Conscience

3. The Enlightening of the Mind

4. The Renewing of the Will

5. The Desire for Christ

6. The Offering of Christ
