The Confirmation of Saul

Two weeks ago we looked at the incredible event on the road to Damascus. Saul of Tarsus was on his way to the then Jewish friendly city in order to capture those who were of the "the Way," those who had believed that Jesus was indeed the Messiah of Israel.

It is interesting that there are more Jewish Synagogue excavations that have been discovered in southeastern Turkey - the region of Cilicia, Tarsus as its capital city.

And, like other Biblical events, this meeting took place as verification of what had happened to Saul. Saul also had the witness of his traveling companions, making the journey to Damascus.
