Prayer Of Exaltation

As David closes the assembly where he gave responsibility of the kingdom and the construction of the Temple to his son Solomon, he gives a public prayer. As a prayer inspired by the Holy Spirit, we should study this prayer for guidance in our own prayer lives. One of the things we should notice in this prayer is that most of it is given to exalting the Lord, and much less of it to petitions.
