The drama of the vineyard

Battle has been joined, and the Lord Jesus is on the offensive. He tells a parable, presenting the drama of the vineyard. We consider first the scenery, the cast, and the plot, but then the Saviour breaks the fourth wall, and both his immediate audience, and we ourselves, find ourselves in the drama of redemption. Here is the history of salvation in a nutshell, and here we are face to face with the Son of God, whom we must receive, lest judgment fall upon us.
