Daniel's Window Into the Spirit World

Daniel has maintained his commitment and worship of the true God by his faithfulness in prayer and trusting the word of God. The third and final vision of Daniel was given after a time of intense and extended prayer and fasting. Daniel was privy to a view of the pre-incarnate Christ in glory as the response to his prayer provided Daniel a window into the spirit world. It was revealed there is a hierarchy in the ranks of both the fallen and unfallen angels. The angels are in intense opposition as Satan continues waging war on God, God's word, and God's people. Daniel prayed on the basis of the promises of God in His word and in response, God gave more detail regarding the future He has planned for his people.
