After Jesus strongly denounces the false prophetess Jezebel and those who committed the sins she counseled, Jesus now turns to address others within the same flock who were not involved in such false teaching or high-handed sins. Jesus lovingly binds up as a Good Shepherd would, greatly encouraging the faithful—plus, He makes promises that go vastly beyond their wildest dreams and imagination—both to them and to us if you are saved and walking with Him.
