A Time For Everything

Aim: To understand that there is a time for every work of God in our lives.

Exegesis: There is a time for us to repent: when conviction comes (v. 18) and when sorrow comes (v. 20). There is a time for us to rejoice, because of the presence (v. 19b) and the feast (v. 19b) of our Lord. There is a time for us to be renewed. Let us be one body (v. 21) and spirit (v. 22) for our King.

Key verse: v. 20 ''But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days.''
