Idols in Worship

Exposition of Second Commandment
How images were used in Canaan prior to Israel entering promised land.

Not using images is unique to biblical religion.

God's image is seen in Christ

The way we worship is important. We can make an idol of method if we allow other things other than those required by God.

Second commandment requires application in all of life.

God is appropriately jealous when we do not give him our worship which is His due.
