Here we are instructed about the wiles of the Devil, and we see the God-given faith of Job which enabled him to endure, to resist the temptations and trials he had to endure — for Job looked to the Lord for his needed strength, and even in the shocking news of his great loss, he bowed and proclaimed, 'The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD.'

Satan thought he would shake Job from his integrity, but God proved sufficient. Satan is no match for our LORD!
