The One Who Stands Between

To read the Bible and especially the writings of Moses is to see cearly the total depravity of man. After witnessing the earth opening up to swallow Korah, Dothan, and Abiram and their families and possessions; after seeing the fire of God vaporize 250 princes of Israel who intruded in the holy service of Aaron's line; Isreal on the next morning begins to criticize and rebuke Moses and Aaron. God's response is to pour out a fast spreading plague on the nation. Only the quick instruction of Moses and the brave interceding of Aaron prevents total calamity. But Aaron standing between the living and the dead is a fit type of my blessed Savior who stands between the condemned sinners, dead in trespasses and sin, and the elect of God who have life retained through the intercessory work of the blessed Redeemer. May God be plesed to reveal Himself to every lost soul who hears this message. Amen.
