Passion of Christ (18) -- Abandonment of the Cross

Hear the cry of abandonment of Jesus on the cross, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'

Jesus is made a curse so that curse-deserving sinners like you and I might be set free; forsaken by God so that we might be received with full pardon.
