Overcoming Swearing

As we continue through the letter that James wrote to the early believers, I am surprised at his next topic. He deals with the activity of swearing. What does his prohibition entail? What does James prohibit?

We will consider this in the text Sunday as well as the need for truthfulness in all we do and say. This will be our worship theme for the service – God is truthful and manifests His faithfulness through being a God of truth.
