Hidden Treasure!

In the first chapter of Colossians, the Apostle (BIG A) Paul layed down the facts of whom Jesus Christ was, and is. He is:

The very image of the invisible God
The firstborn of all creation
The Creator
The Preeminant one
The Head of the Church
The Firstborn from the dead
The Reconciler of all things
The Peacemaker

He was, and is all these things, openly! Unlike the heretical, and aberrant teachers of the day, there was nothing hidden. The heretical teachers always pointed to themselves, and their power, or knowledge for justification and sanctification.

In Jesus Christ (IN WHOM) are all these things. They are not some secret, but are “hidden in plain view” in the pages of Scripture.
