The Covenant of Works / part 1

The Biblical Doctrine:

1. Why it is called a covenant of works.
2. Why it should be called a covenant - Four biblical arguments.
3. Conditional promise in the covenant. The covenant of grace may be and is broken as the covenant of works was broken (Hosea 6:7 ; Job 31:33). Conditional promises are no denial of the eternal, unchangeable and absolute decrees of God.
4. The content of the condition - the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
5. The promise of the covenant of works - the implied promise of reward considered in six ways.
