God's Redemption of Babel

After Noah, there was only one language and common speech (vocabulary). All were direct descendants of Noah. Over time, the people migrated away from Ararat. They came to the Plain of Shinar.
They wanted to make a name for themselves: to reach high into the heavens. They wanted to build a tower that would last forever. They wanted to be above every other name, But this name is reserved for Jehovah alone.
Jehovah God will protect His name. Here in Babel, He confuses the language. This also protects them from themselves.
As Christians, we all have in common, Jesus. Im Jesus we have redemption of body and soul, all of ourselves. In heaven, we all have one voice again in Christ.
