To Ephesus

Today we study the first of seven letters to churches in Asia Minor. The message is given by Christ, written by John and addressed to the angel of the church in Ephesus. We see a common structure for each of the seven letters: the salutation, a description of the speaker (Jesus Christ); what He knows about the church; a commendation and/or condemnation and what the church must do to repent, persevere and receive a blessing.
