The Singular Origin of the Christian

This text is an argument that salvation cannot be a thing of human merit or worth. A creation cannot possibly be the work of the created being. Whatever we are in Christ must be the result of God's work in us. Not only is this true of salvation but also in the good works which accompany it; they are the product of divine ordination and there is no space left for human glorification.
