Habakkuk 3:1-19

Introduction

1. Fear
   a) 'I was afraid'... because he takes God's words seriously
   b) Proper fear enables faithful action
   c) Propoer fear enables trus in God's mercy

2. Faith
   a) Faith in God is not blind
   b) You went forth for the salvation of your people
   c) It is understandable to feel afraid of God and His jugdgement
   d) God's people must live by FAITH(promises), not by sight (circumstances)

3. Confidence
   a) God's salvation helps us to be certain of God's goodness, even when life doesn't look good
   b) Eternal certainty and joy changes the way you live this life
