Paul linked together five phrases to form a powerful, stand apart statement. The key phrase is the last one, "in the beloved". All of grace and all of salvation are in Christ. Election (V4), redemption (V7) and everything in between are in Him. In connection with His Glorious Person and Saving Work are salvation blessings found.
