OT Introduction: 2 Kings

2nd Kings is much like 1 Kings in that divisions are still caused by sin. However, the consequences are recorded for the idol worship which results in destruction and captivity. The Northern tribes went first and the Southern tribes followed when they failed to learn from their brethren. God raised prophets to teach the kings the law of God. We all need instruction that sin does not destroy us.
