Every Father's Greatest Foe

Embed

The most important thing about any person is what comes to their mind when they think of God. Psalm 78 is a psalm that distinguishes fathers in particular as being tasked with instructing their households concerning "the testimony of the Lord (the law) as well as "the praises of the LORD, His strength, and His works." Additionally this psalm states that faithful fathers instruct their households about hte sad history of the chosen people, their successive failures, and the root of those failures. Your greatset foe is not the devil or the Democratic party, though those are both foes. If your child or someone in your household asked you, What is wrong with us? What is essentially wrong with our country? What would you say? What you should say is, our greatest foe is THE CARNAL MIND--THE FLESH. This is why we are rebels against the covenant. We observed the Lord's table during the service in which this message was given. We who are members of New Testament assemblies can still each other up to be in the Spirit. We can testify of His works on our behalf personally. This message is divided into three simple points. Instruction required. A curriculum provided. A sound plan of victory.
