Transformation in Christ - The Life of God's Covenant Household

The New Testament is emphatic that the salvation of individual persons serves God's greater goal of establishing a corporate "dwelling." As living stones in Christ, the Living Stone, believers are being built together into a spiritual house - the foreordained and final sanctuary of the living God. But if the Church has a corporate form, it must also have a corporate function and role since form always follows function. This sermon considers the life of the fulfilled covenant household in view of its corporate identity and structure. In particular, it examines the internal function of the Body in connection with the Spirit's gifting of its individual members and their mutual ministry in love.
