The Transfiguration

The weighty significance and infinite worth of the Son of God radiates from his very self as he prays with his closest disciples atop a mountain. Such indescribable glory (for that is what the light emanating from Christ represents) is beheld by every disciple who looks to the word of God and listens to the voice of Christ therein. His word is sure, as witnessed to by both the Old Testament prophets and the Father himself. And, his work is effective, as he forges a new exodus from the bondage of sin and death, thus redeeming a people who can't help but wonder at his great glory.
