The Higher Ways of God

Isaiah was part of the royal family, and as such was exposed to all kinds of people. Here in our text he conveys the difference between the ways and thoughts of God compared to the ways and thoughts of carnal humanity. Thoughtless men move like beasts seeking only food and drink and fleshly pleasures, but God touched men seek spiritual objectives and eternal glory. If a man's thoughts are not conformed to God's thoughts then his ways can never be God's ways. Only by faith do mortal minds seek divine goals; only by faith do mortal souls seek divine ways.
