Overcoming Evil with Good

The Christian is never to repay his enemies with evil, but to seek peace with all men, and do good to all men. You must be kind even to those who hurt you, in the hope that they will see the goodness of Christ, turn from their vicious ways, and find salvation. You must not repay the wicked with evil—God will visit the wicked in His own time.
