The theme of I Peter is suffering. If we are going to suffer for Christ sake, we need to know what it is all about
I.What is Salvation? I Peter 1:1-25
Peter tells us what all salvation entails.
II.What is Christian Living? I Pet.2:1-3:22
A. It involves a Change in our Conduct.2:1,11-12
We believe that the grace of God in our hearts produces a change in the conduct of individuals. It changes their conduct.

It involves a Change in our Appetite 2:2-3
The reason our conduct changes is because our appetite has been change due to a heart change. We love God, His Son and the Word of God

It involves Scriptural Worship 2:4-9a
True Christian living involves worshipping God. We must understand what a New Testament church is if we are to worship God aright.
It involves Good Works 2:9b-12
Most Christians know Eph.2:8-9, but few know what verse 10 says. Good works are the evidence of an inward work of grace in our hearts.
It involves Submission 2:13-3:22
Submission is one of the hardest graces to develope in the Christian life, but it is the mark of true Christianity.
