Against all of the evidence contrariwise, professional educators insist that it takes a professional to educate a child. 'Don't do this at home!' they say. 'Unqualified people should never do brain surgery, and they certainly should not teach children.' Yet, home educated children taught mostly by non-professional parents, typically score well above the national average on nationally-standardized tests. And they win geography bees!
