Be Doers of the Word and not Hearers only

The Christian life is not one of mere externalism. Having Jesus as the Lord of our life demands that we be doers of the Word and not hearers only. The proof that we know Him is that we obey. Obedience is not the basis or grounds for our salvation, but it is the evidence that we are justified.
