Offering Acceptable Sacrifices

The writer reminded his readers that all followers of Jesus the Messiah are obliged to abide with Him "outside the camp," which means ordering their lives with Him according to the new creation He has inaugurated in Himself. This involves new sacrifices, namely the sacrifice of confession and the sacrifice of service. Together, these fulfill the two great commandments of love for God and love for one's neighbor.
