No Place to Hide

The call to all men is to repent and be baptized, to kiss the Son lest He be angry with you and you perish in the way. All that men need to know how to be saved from God's wrath has been revealed to them in clear words and gracious overtures found in Scripture. Jerusalem, that city of light and glory, who had received the law and the prophets, the covenantal promises and covenant warnings, and yet she had in the main rejected God's hand of extended mercy manifested in the Messiah made flesh, the suffering One, the dying One, the rejected One. For that rejection Israel was judged while those who embraced Christ were sparred. Do you wish to be saved from judgment, then get beneath the blood of Christ, which alone washes away our sins.
