Public worship is necessary!

As our series on worship continues, we consider the public worship of God. We hear what distinguishes it from secret and family worship. The great glory it brings to God. The great glory that the worship enters into - "the holiest" through the blood of Jesus.

Public Worship is most necessary - as its neglect leads to apostasy. As well, we see that Christ gives leadership of Public Worship to church officers and not civil magistrates or the unordained.

Public worship:
I. Is most glorifying and most glorious.
II. Has certain requirements.
III. Is not to be neglected.
