He Whom God Raised Up Saw No Corruption

Paul is concluding his sermon. He has explained that Jesus was the long awaited Messiah. Now he goes to the Scriptures to prove that it is so. He argues from Scripture that Christ was greater than David. While God caused David to be buried with his fathers and for his body to decay, Jesus was raised from the dead and never saw corruption. Paul ends with a warning from Habakkuk that God sends judged on those who are despisers, who will not bend the knee to Christ. May none of us be found in that state.
