Life's relay

Life is like a relay race, everyone is running around and around on the same circular track. Here in Genesis 2 we are picking up with Day number 7 of creation and then Moses goes on to expound on man's creation. That rest is like the end of the previous lap and with the explanation Moses offers up we see the start of the next lap. In essence the passing of the baton, as man is coming onto the scene.
