Suffering for Conformity to God's Law

People with a victim mentality take a twisted sort of joy in letting you know how mistreated they are. But people with a Christian attitude toward suffering take real joy in the reward promised to their suffering for Jesus’ sake. Persecution must be for righteousness, it consists in undergoing abuse and suffering, it receives a reward, and joy is the correct response to it.
