Cain and Abel: Abel's Blood Yet Speaks

The apostle declared Abel's blood-sacrifice 'yet speaks' (Heb 11:4). He had learned 'in the process of time' and offered 'of the firstlings of his flock and the fat thereof' (Gen 4:4). His sacrifices typified the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. As Abel's speaks temporally, Christ's speaks eternally and effectually for God's elect.
