Michael P. McQueer was killed in Vietnam, on Hill 162, near the DMZ, on Nov. 11, 1969. On his first day in Vietnam, by his alertness and skill, he detected a hidden unit of communist soldiers, and saved the 100 of Delta Company from a deadly ambush. He demonstrate the highest valor, as he surrendered his life, all his tomorrows for our todays.
