Luther's Psalm

This psalm brought great comfort to Martin Luther. God is a refuge, a strength, the God of Jacob and Lord of Hosts. All of these titles give comfort to God's people. They can go to him and find protection. This protection is especially seen in Zion, both earthly and heavenly. God will give his people rest from all of the raging nations within the walls of his city.
