3. rulers (archai) any supernatural ruler other than God, who has power to command -authorities (exousia) executives in charge.
   c. His power and purpose of creation

III. The Head of the Church (Vs. 18)
a. He is the Lord of His church
b. firstborn from the dead (prototokos)
c. In the end he will have first place over all things.

IV. God the Savior (Vs. 19-20)
a. all the fullness of deity is in Him. (pleroma)
b. the plan of God's redemption - reconciliation (apokatallasso)
c. the means of reconciliation
