High Priest of Good Things

Christ was the greater and more perfect tabernacle than the tabernacle in Old Testament times. In His righteous and holy Person, were concentrated all of the good spiritual things that had come in His Incarnation and would come by way of His fulfillment of the ceremonial and moral law of God. And so, we should understand that all these good spiritual things would come through the sacrifice of His body and blood. They would come on account of, His offering Himself up in our place as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins.
