David: Thou Art the Man

INTRODUCTION: Recognizing one's own sin is one of man's most difficult accomplishments. As a case in point, David seemingly experienced little-to-no conviction until Nathan showed him his sin. Nathan's success came by presenting David's sin through a parable with fictitious characters. It was only when David saw his sin in the life of another that he expressed its wickedness and deserved consequences. In the end, God's grace and mercy is going to turn the heart of David and preserve him in doing so.
