The three great enemies of the Christian are the World, The Flesh, and the Devil. These three are often referred to as the "Unholy Trinity." There are three commands given to us concerning these entities. In 1 John 5:15-16, we are command not to love the world. In Galatians 5:16, we are commanded to walk in the Spirit. In 1 Peter 5:8-9 we are commanded to resist the Devil, stedfast in the faith. How we need the grace of God to obey all three.
