Honour Thy Father And Mother.

The family is the first authority unit God established upon earth. Destroy the family and you destroy society. Father and mother should be equally honoured. The Husband is the head of the wife as Christ is head of the church.Hence, wives submit to your husbands, as unto the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church, and gave Himself for it. The fact that the death penalty was to be carried out on a son if he struck either of his parents, tells us how important the family unit is.
