[04/17/2022 AM - Easter] - "Three Final Questions" John 20.1-17

On the Lord's day we will rejoice to remember that He conquered sin and death and hell and was raised for our justification! Up from the grave He arose!!

In the AM we will have four response readings, one from each of the four Gospels, and each reading will be followed by three questions for us to ponder and answer in our hearts (see attached order of worship). The sermon will examine all four Gospel accounts and ask three final questions.

Matthew 28.1-10; Mark 16.1-11; Luke 24.1-2; John 20.1-17
Ask These Self-Assessment Questions

Matthew 28.1-10…and we confess our sins

1. Have you come here today seeking Jesus?
2. Have you been amazed at the blazing holiness of God?
3. Have you come here today by grace to worship Jesus?

Mark 16.1-11…and we prepare to pray to our holy God

1. Are you ready to pray to our most precious Savior?
2. Are you ready to pray to our most powerful Lord?
3. Are you ready to pray to the resurrected Jesus?

Luke 24.1-12…and we sing

1. Do you plan to sing as a reply to what you have been told?
2. Do you plan to sing as your reply to all Jesus has done?
3. Do you plant to sing as an expression of your intent to live for Him?

John 20.1-17 – Three Final Questions

1. Are you aware that despite God's written record many people don't believe?
2. Are you aware that Jesus loves to bring His people to saving faith?
3. Are you aware that professing the resurrected Christ is required?
