We begin our study of 1 Cor. 2. We look into 2:1 and see Paul's coming to Corinth. Chapter 2 is Paul's second entreaty toward unity within the church. He entreats them to look at "God and His Glory." Whereas in chapter 1 he entreats them to look at "Christ and His Cross." Should not these great themes move us to unity among the saints?
